About Us
Moms Harlene (Har) and Giselle (Gizzy) create an honest and candid space where guests can share their hardships, funny moments, hacks and much more, while openly admitting that sometimes the biggest victory is just getting through the day. In the last seven months, they have been able to reach a community of almost HALF A MILLION people and growing! From entrepreneurs to moms who have lost a child, dope dads to divorcees, the diverse guest lineup delivers a series of insightful episodes filled with laughs, tears and hilarity.
Our Why
We want to be a voice and an outlet for other moms (and dads) who may be struggling with the growing pains of parenthood. Giving back is the fire that keeps us alive, and advocating for the well-being of our kids and their future is an ever growing passion we want to share with the world. We want to leverage our platform by curating topics to spark conversations in our communities, and have our content easily accessible to reach audiences in the comfort of their homes, cars and workplaces.
Harlene (Har)
A single mom to a 15 year-old son, Har is passionate about her career in experiential marketing which has given her a platform to be actively involved in the local basketball community. Being able to volunteer in various basketball clubs youth development programs has led her to foster strong, meaningful relationships by sharing her values of commitment, excellence, empathy, integrity and trust. She also continues her childhood love for volleyball by playing for a women’s competitive league.
Giselle (Gizzy)
Born and raised in Calgary and wannabe Pinterest mom to a 3 year-old daughter. While the podcast has recently become her passion, Gizzy recently started her career in the infrastructure sector after a long stretch in the oil & gas industry. After feeling like she lost (and then found) herself when she became a mom, she wanted to create a podcast to reach other parents who are dealing with similar problems while incorporating her love for 90’s hip hop music in her brand.
